Exceptionalism in the PCA

For members of PCA churches, I think it is worth asking your pastors, elders, and deacons about their differences (if any) with the Standards. Not only do I believe that transparency is the best policy, but I hope that these earnest questions lead to helpful conversations for both pastor and parishioner about what our Standards teach.

Our doctrinal convictions matter. My hope and prayer is that the PCA would continue to be “rooted and built up in Christ and established in the faith” (Colossians 2:7) as it seeks to be “Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.”
